How do I return an item or an order?Updated 10 days ago

We understand that returns are sometimes necessary, and we've structured our policy to ensure a fair and consistent process for all customers.

Note: For orders placed prior to April 24, 2025, the previous returns policy will be applied.

RETURN ELIGIBILITY

New and unused items may be returned within 30 days of delivery for a refund of the product cost only. Original shipping charges are non-refundable.

Ace Race Parts does not reimburse return shipping expenses for correctly shipped orders.

In the event of an error on our part—such as shipping the incorrect product—we will provide a prepaid return label and reship the correct item at no additional cost.

INELIGIBLE ITEMS FOR RETURN

  • Used, modified, or installed items
  • Damaged or visibly worn items
  • Items missing original packaging (when applicable)
  • Clearance or discontinued items
  • Orders shipped to international addresses
  • Custom-built or special order items

RESTOCKING FEE POLICY

All eligible returns are subject to a 10% restocking fee, regardless of order value.
This fee will be deducted from the product refund at the time of processing.

Note: Previously, returns over $500 were subject to a 15% restocking fee—this has been reduced to 10% as part of our updated policy.

Restocking fees are applied consistently to all eligible returns to ensure a uniform and transparent process. Returns requested beyond the 30-day return window will not be accepted.

HOW TO RETURN A PRODUCT

Beginning April 24, 2025, all returns must be submitted through our new self-serve returns system within your customer account. To initiate a return:

  1. Log in to your account on our website.
  2. In the "Email" field, enter the email address used at checkout, then click "Continue."
  3. Check your email inbox for a six-digit verification code and return to our site to enter the code.
  4. Once logged in, find the relevant order and click "Request return."
  5. If your order contains multiple items, select the item(s) you'd like to return.
  6. Choose a return reason and optionally include a note for our team.
  7. Click "Request return" to submit your return request.

RETURN PACKAGING GUIDELINES

To help ensure a smooth return process, we kindly ask that all items be packaged with the same level of care in which they were received. Our products are heavy and can be easily scratched or dented if not properly protected during transit.

Because we cannot resell items that are returned with damage, products that arrive with scratches, dents, or other signs of poor packaging may not be eligible for a refund.

REFUND TIMELINE

All returned items must be securely packaged to prevent damage during transit. Items returned in poor condition due to inadequate packaging will not be eligible for a refund.
Once received and inspected at our facility, refunds will be processed within one business day to the original payment method.

IF A PRODUCT IS DAMAGED IN TRANSIT TO ME, DO I NEED TO USE THE RETURNS CENTER?

If you receive a package with damaged or missing products, please alert the delivery driver immediately upon receipt. After notifying the driver, please contact us directly at [email protected] with your name, email address, and order number. Please include photos of the damaged box and products to expedite your replacement. Claims for missing, damaged, or other issues must be made within three business days of receipt of shipment. Claims made after three business days will not be eligible for replacement.

WHAT IF ACE RACE PARTS INITIALLY SHIPPED ME THE INCORRECT PRODUCT?

To report an incorrect item, please contact us promptly at [email protected] with your name, email address, order number, and a photo of the incorrect item. We will send a replacement as soon as possible and cover all required shipping costs to ensure you receive the correct item.

PRODUCT COMPATIBILITY NOTICE

The customer is responsible for verifying the compatibility of items in their shopping cart. Ace Race Parts is not liable for orders containing mismatched or incompatible products and will not refund shipping charges for such orders. For questions about product compatibility, please contact us.
